01 Concept
Your entire project and its tasks on a single map.
Depensee combines the rigor of a task tracker with the freedom of a flowchart. A project becomes a graph: tasks are nodes, dependencies are semantic links (blocks, contains, relates). The structure reads at a glance.
02 Backstory
The idea
Depensee grew out of ordinary sprints in Jira: when a large issue splits into subtasks with links and blockers, a flat list stops being enough.
- Links scatter across cards: to grasp one ticket you open another, then one more – and the context falls apart.
- Decomposition is the same story, though on a map you can drop new nodes in one motion – together with the team.
- Plugins offered roadmaps and Kanban boards, but not a real task graph you can grab and shape. So I built my own.

Tasks are nodes on a shared canvas. Move, link, and plan. Decompose in one motion.

Three link types: blocks, contains, relates. The dependency graph reads at a glance – much like an ER diagram.

Tracker integration
Connect Jira or Yandex Tracker: tasks, statuses, assignees, and links flow onto the map. Read-only in the MVP – the tracker stays the source of truth. More trackers later.

Cursors, selection, edits, and moves. The team sees every change right away. Plan together on one map.

The MVP is ready – the demo is open.
The public demo is live at demo.depensee.com: sign up with an email, create a workspace, invite the team and put tasks with their dependencies on a shared map – in real time, with an import from Jira or Yandex Tracker. This is an MVP, not a full release: what we build next depends largely on the first users. On the plan: more tracker integrations, an LLM integration, a built-in task tracker, further work on collaborative planning and a self-hosted edition.
